How do I narrow my search down to a selection of disks and folders?

  1. Select the disks and folders you want to search before entering a search.

  2. Start your search with “Find…” in the Catalog menu or Quick Search at the window toolbar.

  3. You will see an additional scope tab in the top of the search results window with a result, limited to the selection.

To change the selection scope, start over from step 1.

In the search scope tab, in addition to the selection scope, you can again make a selection within the search results or within all open catalogs.
